Nowhere But Home

Nowhere But HomeNowhere But Home by Liza Palmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Stars.

I admit it. I can be a snob. So when I first heard that this took place in Texas, I thought red neck country. I’m embarassed to admit it. But it’s important for you to know that I went in thinking easy read with simple characters. Wow, when I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

These characters are wonderfully interesting so much so I just siddled right up and didn’t want to leave. These were women I wanted to spend more time with. This book was full of emotion; it made me laugh and it made me cry. A wonderful book.

It lost a half a star only because I thought the ending- the very end, was too easy. And that’s all I’ll say about that. I have her book Conversations with a fat girl and I can’t wait to meet more of Liza’s creations.
